Our market features a diverse mix of food vendors, artisans & crafters, farmed goods & interactive booths. We are a family-friendly establishment with free keiki activities & live music.

We service 110+ vendors each year with 60+ on site each week. This means each time you visit, there's something unique to explore. Regardless of when you come, there's always something for everyone!

Street parking is free on Sundays & we are surrounded by several public parking lots. 

Meet the Artists Reception: Sunday, September 6, 1-3pm

Pastel Artists of Hawaii (PAH) invites everyone to view a FREE exhibit highlighting recent works by members of various skill levels.

PAH is a Hawaii-wide group of artists who produce works using at least 80% soft, sometimes known as dry, pastels. Used for hundreds of years by the likes of Mary Cassatt, Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, and Pierre-August Renoir, soft pastels are nothing more than pigment (or color) held in a stick form by a minimum amount of binder, allowing the artists many ways of applying and manipulating the color.

Scenes from Hawaii tend to feature prominently in PAH paintings, but you can also see portraits, still life, and even a few abstracts. Come see some views of the islands and more through the loving eyes of these local artists.

Join us every Wednesday at 10:00am for a fun-filled story time! We’ll read a few simple stories, then make a craft or do an activity. Great fun for 2 – 5 year-olds and their parents or caregivers.

The staff at the shop & lab have shot E-6 positive film for our annual Staff Show, DOUBLE NEGATIVE. They have prints which were printed by our neighbors at Salt Ki'ikau Printers who have generously sponsored the event. Along side the prints, they have filled a carousel projector for viewing.

PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT, WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 16th, 5pm-7pm at the 'Iao Theater!

We will be addressing the issues of Crime and Safety and the ongoing work for change.

On our current list is working toward establishing a SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT that will be the foundation of a new management plan and office. This will be based on the Maui Street American program that has been highly successful in towns across the country. We are working in conjunction with the County on this program and will be announcing public meetings as we get consultants and programs developed. Stay tuned!

With these words, we are drawn into the world of Both Sides Now - a theatrical concert that explores the music and lives of long-time friends and one-time lovers, Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. Created by, and starring Robbie Schaefer and Danielle Wertz, the cabaret-style performance traverses decades alongside songs such as A Case of You, Hallelujah, Big Yellow Taxi, Suzanne, and many more. Both Sides Now is at once a piece of the 60’s and 70’s, and of right now -- offering us a story about the messiness of being human, of lives persistently lived at the edge of growth, and of finding the courage to turn toward one another, again and again.

Celebrate one of Hawaiʻi Island's most treasured traditions at the 34th Annual Clyde "Kindy" Sproat Falsetto and Storytelling Contest. Honoring the legacy of legendary North Kohala musician Clyde "Kindy" Sproat, talented contestants share the stories behind their chosen mele before performing in the beautiful tradition of Hawaiian falsetto (leo kiʻekiʻe).
