Halloween fun is back in the Heart of the North Shore!

Join us at Haleiwa Store Lots on Saturday, October 24th for the return of our fang-tastic Costume Contest & Trick-or-Treat celebration, happening in the Kamehamalu Courtyard!

Event Schedule:
• Registration: 11:00 AM
• Costume Contest: 12:00 PM

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be awarded in each category—Ages 0–3, 4–8, and 9–12. Entry is limited to the first 50 participants per category!

Enjoy trick-or-treating at participating merchants — just look for the “Trick-or-Treat” signs (while supplies last).

Come in costume, bring the ʻohana, and celebrate Halloween with us in historic Haleʻiwa!

The costume contest is open to keiki ages 0–12 & ʻOhana, with the first 50 entries accepted for each category: Ages 0–3, Ages 4–8, Ages 9–12, and ʻOhana. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category.

We’re giving away $1,000 in prizes!

Afterward, keep the Halloween fun going with trick-or-treating at participating merchants. Just look for the “Trick-or-Treat” signs — treats are available while supplies last. Participating merchants will be announced soon.

Winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical, The Toxic Avenger is a hilariously rockin’ campy, hot toxic love story and musical comedy. It’s Little Shop of Horrors meets Evil Dead the Musical!
Dive into the over-the-top chaos of The Toxic Avenger, where love, laughter, and a little bit of environmental heroism come together in a outrageous, laugh-out-loud way! The town of Tromaville is plagued by a corrupt mayor and her cronies and a mysteriously growing supply of toxic waste—if only there was an environmental super hero to save the day! Enter Melvin Ferd the Third! Foiled by the mayor’s bullies, Melvin is dumped into a vat of radioactive toxic waste, only to reemerge as The Toxic Avenger, New Jersey’s first superhero. Affectionately known as Toxie, our new hero is a seven-foot mutant with superhuman strength and a heart as big as Newark. He’s out to save New Jersey, end global warming, and woo the town librarian. The Toxic Avenger will leave audiences laughing in the aisles as it rocks the house.

The vision of the Climate Future Forum is that youth have a seat at the table as active and engaged participants in the 2026 legislative session on climate policy and action. The event will bring together youth (ages 14-26), educators, policymakers, experts and community organizations to evaluate and discuss climate action priorities and provide tangible steps to empower youth in legislative action. Our hope is for youth to forge relationships with policymakers so that they can continue to work together throughout the 2026-27 legislative session at the county, state, and national levels.

Join Andrea in this exciting performance series as we learn choreography, refine technique, build confidence, and celebrate the beauty and joy of belly dance. Whether you’re new to belly dance or have previous experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way in a welcoming and encouraging community.

This is more than a dance class, it’s an opportunity to challenge yourself, connect with others, and experience the excitement of performing on one of Hawaiʻi’s most iconic stages. Together, we’ll celebrate the vibrant traditions of Diwali through movement, music, and storytelling.

ʻAinakea is set on Maui’s west side in 1953. The play tells the fictional story of the wealthy Goodale family and their failing sugar plantation, ‘Ainakea, which was named for a type of prized white sugarcane.

The play is an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s classic drama The Cherry Orchard, widely considered one of the great plays of the early 20th century. Nevius has updated the drama to the 1950s. With statehood looming and the traditional, plantation-based sugar business coming to an end, this was a period of great uncertainty and change in the Hawaiian islands.
Written by Maui playwright - James Nevius

Nevius' last full-length play, Murder in the Nth Degree, won the ProArts Playhouse inaugural playwriting competition and was named Best Play of 2022 by Broadway World Hawaii.
