Rama Camarillo is an ukulele teacher at Kamehameha Schools Maui, has performed on Maui for many years and enjoys listening to his son’s music, who are both Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners.
Seating is provided throughout the property for guests to enjoy. At this time, The Shops at Wailea kindly ask guests not to bring their own chairs. Mahalo for your understanding. The Slack Key Show is a weekly show in a concert setting centered on the traditional Hawaiian fingerstyle guitar tradition known as kī hōʻalu. Hosted by George Kahumoku Jrʻs protégé Shem Kahawaii, the weekly concert features a rotating roster of the best in slack key guitar and Hawaiian music. They have won 4 Grammys for Best Hawaiian Music from compilation albums recorded live at the show.

Culinary Arts Waikōloa is back, and the Waikōloa Dry Forest Initiative is thrilled to be the nonprofit beneficiary of this fun, festive, foodie event! Join some of your favorite restaurants and local chefs who will host food-tasting booths with delicious creations, plus cocktails and mocktails to sip and savor. The evening will also feature live entertainment with Abe Lagrimas, Jr. Trio at Center Stage. Abe Lagrimas, Jr. is a musician, composer, educator, and author who plays the drums, vibraphone, and ukulele professionally. As a solo ukulele artist, Abe is a multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award recipient and won in 2022 for Ukulele Album of the Year. He will be joined by Matt Spencer on bass and Noel Okimoto on drums.
