Join us for Keiki Club, a fun-filled, hands-on crafting experience hosted by HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts—right at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center!

Every Third Saturday
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Let your little ones explore their imagination through exciting crafts and creative play. We provide all the supplies—you just bring the smiles!

Whether your keiki is a budding artist or just loves to get crafty, this free event is the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning.

Maui resident artists showing paintings, wood carving, jewelry, ceramics, photography, feather art, and more they've created, fridays & saturdays under tents in the grassy area of the parking lot. A non-profit started in the 1960s LAS provides free art and music classes to Maui youth. Come and talk story with the artists.

Join us for Pineapple Pages: Storytime & Craft, where fun stories meet hands-on crafts!

Every third Saturday of the month at Liliha Library, enjoy a fun-filled time of storytime and crafts! Dive into cool tales and get creative with hands-on activities. Perfect for kids and families who love a mix of imagination and making stuff. Come hang out, listen, and craft away with us!

Learn/practice Mindfulness in the natural beauty of The private Hawaii Loa Ridge Park (at the end of Puuikena dr, below the trail-head) in East Oahu. Beginners welcome with introductory guidance starting at 10 am every 2nd Sat of the month. Email mindfulhawaii@gmail.com for more information.

The Peace Day Parade and Festival will take place in Honoka’a Town on Saturday November 21. The day-long festivities are organized and produced by the Peace Committee of Honoka`a Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

The parade steps off at 11 am from the Honoka’a High School parking lot, entertaining its way through town down Mamane Street with a "moving stage" that spotlights hula halau, taiko drummers, bon dancers, cirque performers, singers and numerous other community groups and performers. Local VIPs and government officials will also be participating. The parade will end at the County Park, where the festival will take place from noon until 4:00 pm.

Interested organizations and vendors who would like to participate in the parade or festival are encouraged to reach out via email events@honokaahongwanjibuddhisttemple.org. Contributions of items or in-kind donations towards our silent auction are also welcome.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to adventure! Hawaiʻi Children's Theatre's Mainstage presents The Wizard of Oz, live on stage at the Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall, November 20–29, 2026. Join Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion on their journey to the Emerald City in this beloved musical classic, performed by a talented cast of Kauaʻi adults and students.

Directed by Jim Ballantine, choreography by Carol Culver, vocal instruction by Dolly Kanekuni.

Performances: Fridays at 7 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM & 7 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM.

ʻAinakea is set on Maui’s west side in 1953. The play tells the fictional story of the wealthy Goodale family and their failing sugar plantation, ‘Ainakea, which was named for a type of prized white sugarcane.

The play is an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s classic drama The Cherry Orchard, widely considered one of the great plays of the early 20th century. Nevius has updated the drama to the 1950s. With statehood looming and the traditional, plantation-based sugar business coming to an end, this was a period of great uncertainty and change in the Hawaiian islands.

Nevius' last full-length play, Murder in the Nth Degree, won the ProArts Playhouse inaugural playwriting competition and was named Best Play of 2022 by Broadway World Hawaii.
