Jacob Aloi
Executive Producer, The ConversationJacob Aloi is the current executive producer of HPR’s daily news program “The Conversation.” He was born in Texas and lived on Maui and in southern Utah during his youth, before moving to Minnesota for college. Previously, Jacob was an arts reporter and newscaster at Minnesota Public Radio, where he was part of the team that documented the federal government's immigration operations in Minnesota in early 2026. He has also reported stories for NPR, American Theatre Magazine and PRX’s “The World.”
