Follow the Yellow Brick Road to adventure! Hawaiʻi Children's Theatre's Mainstage presents The Wizard of Oz, live on stage at the Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall, November 20–29, 2026. Join Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion on their journey to the Emerald City in this beloved musical classic, performed by a talented cast of Kauaʻi adults and students.

Directed by Jim Ballantine, choreography by Carol Culver, vocal instruction by Dolly Kanekuni.

Performances: Fridays at 7 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM & 7 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM.

A family-friendly, short-&-sweet adaptation of Shakespeare's funniest comedy, Much Ado About Nothing!

A company of victorious soldiers returns to a sun-bathed Italian estate nestled in a citrus orchard. They turn their attention to romance and revelry, but gossip, jealousy, and deception quickly follow. Beatrice and Benedick would rather argue than admit their true feelings, while Hero and Claudio discover that falling in love can be downright dangerous.

With mistaken identities, meddling friends, scandalous rumors, bumbling constables, masquerades, singing, dancing, and plenty of verbal sparring, Much Ado is Shakespeare at his most playful.

Join us on Sunday, November 22, 2026, for a sunrise journey along the famous Kaiwi Coast scenic highway on the island of O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. This community oriented event is a 4-mile run or walk and the only pedestrian race sanctioned for this area. The Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk begins at approximately 6:45 a.m. with the rising of the sun over the Kaiwi Channel, a Hawaiian oli (chant), and the blowing of the pū (conch shell horn). Participants start at Awāwāmalu (Sandy Beach Park) and continue around the Kaiwi Coast, passing Hālona Blow Hole and Hanauma Bay, following Kalanianaʻole Hwy. into Maunalua and finishing just about 4 miles later at the Hui Nalu Canoe Club halau on the shores of Maunalua Bay. Limited to 3,000 entrants.

Please join us at Ka'ehu for our 4th Sunday of every month cleanup of this beautiful bay! We work together to pick up marine debris that's continuously washing ashore, from all around the Pacific Ocean and locally. Then we weigh, sort and count it all. This information gets added to our ongoing database since 2012, when we first began these regular cleanups at Ka'ehu.

It's a very rewarding and educational experience (with good karma and outdoor exercise). All are welcome to join this adventurous trashy treasure hunt! Please rsvp so we can provide our most updated safety and access information:

The Jaf's Dink in Pink Pickleball Tournament is a fun-filled weekend of pickleball, local vendors, prize giveaways, and community, all supporting Breast Cancer Hawaii. Held in memory of Jafra Depontes, the tournament raises funds to provide programs and resources for breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and their families across the Hawaiian Islands.
