With Oʻahu and Maui dropping their vaccine card check at the doors of restaurants, what’s the forecast for the rest of 2022? The Conversation talked with Doug Harris, founder of the Food Gurus Hawaii, which tracks daily transactions at eateries across the state. The challenge for businesses has been the surge in the coronavirus, as well as labor shortages and rising food costs.
