🍻Truck Stop Thursday is back! Every Thursday we will have two local food trucks parked out front doing all the food! Join us every week from 5-8pm for an evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere. And now with live music by Ola Akau playing from 5pm to 7pm in the courtyard.

Enjoy live music from the talented local guitarist and singer, Darin Cumpston. He will performing relaxing sunset vibes at Hula's Bar & Lei Stand, Waikiki, from 6pm to 9pm. The event is free and welcome to adults 21+.

In addition to the full band, Glabicki strips down to the bare essentials on a duo tour where he and longtime bandmate Dirk Miller take the old Rusted Root favorites along with new material and perform reenvisioned versions of them in an up close and intimate setting.

“We go into the crevices of the songs and expand them out and open up the music to whatever happens in the moment,” Glabicki says of his shows with Miller. “It’s completely improvisational, to the point where we surprise ourselves a lot. Things just happen, and I start laughing. It’s like we’ve never heard it sound like that before. We have a great time with it and the audience seems to enjoy the musical exploration too.”

A multifaceted musician, producer and songwriter, Glabicki’s talents are unique and extremely uplifting. His new projects and music are extensions of his creative talent, and will inspire all those who participate. The Silverado kid or never fake it in a gun fight, a Melodramma written by Nelson Shreve, will be held three weekends in May. Tickets are available for $10 which includes a comic Melodramma, and OLLI featuring local entertainment, free, popcorn, and free parking.

About the Show
Maui’s favorite jam band is BACK for another epic show on the ProArts stage! Maui’s Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winning band Kanekoa is quickly becoming a global phenomenon. Powered by electric ukuleles and exotic rhythms, these ukulele masters ride the wave of Hawaiian roots with jam band energy, creating a sound they call Hawaiian jam-rock. For the last 25 years audiences never fail to swoon over their soulful originals and crafty covers interpreted with pure originality. The Grateful Dead’s drummer Bill Kreutzmann goes so far as to call them, “the Hawaiian Grateful Dead.” David Hidalgo of Los Lobos says, “These guys scare me. They are that good.” They recently graced the cover of Ukulele Magazine and were referred to as “Hawaiian Trailblazers”. Once you hear Vince Esquire lead ukulele, you’ll know why he was invited to play with the Allman Brothers Band.
