Today, HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence concludes two days with British R&B / Soul sensation Joss Stone as she prepares to release a new album, Never Forget My Love, which she told us is due in February.

She joined us from her home in Nashville, where she also recorded the new album, with legendary musician and producer Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics. We’ll hear two of the songs on it over the two days we’ve got Joss as a guest on Off The Road!

In part one of our feature, Joss shared her absolutely incredible pandemic journey, which included no less than three roundtrips by car between New Jersey and Florida, the reasons for which she shares in the story. She also explained how she ended up going to the Bahamas to write and record the album with Dave Stewart during the pandemic!

Today for part two we’ll hear a lot of stories about her projects with music superstars, like how she first met Dave Stewart, working with Mick Jagger and Damian Marley in the super group SuperHeavy, collaborations with Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck, and the inspiring story of singing alongside Donna Summer. We’ll also post the complete new interview.
