She is a decades-long veteran of Hawaiʻi news, having been responsible for the military, environment, tourism and government beats at the Honolulu bureau of The Associated Press. She started her journalism career in Tokyo, where she reported for the AP and Dow Jones Newswires.
She was raised in Tokyo and Oʻahu and is a graduate of Punahou School and Wesleyan University.
Audrey enjoys reading novels and history books and delights in watching Honolulu’s official bird, the manu-o-Kū.
