The Shops at Wailea Announces Wailea Wednesdays, Weekly Live Music Series Featuring Local Entertainers
Join The Shops at Wailea for a special evening of music with Myja Bayle.
Maui born singer, songwriter and musician, Myja Bayle has a sound that’s warm like the sun and a tone soothing like the ocean waves. You can often find her playing her ukulele and singing mele of all genres all throughout the islands.
As part of The Shops at Wailea’s Center-wide revitalization, seating is provided throughout the property for guests to enjoy. At this time, The Shops kindly ask guests not to bring their own chairs. Mahalo for your understanding. The Shops’ special events and entertainment are designed to complement the guest shopping and dining experience and guests are welcome to come and go as they wish.
Wednesdays at Highway Inn Waipahu and Thursdays at Highway Inn Kaka‘ako feature a rotating lineup of local musicians perform from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Wednesdays at Waipahu feature Kapono Na‘ili’ili with Kata Maduli, Mistyreis and Mista Lawri, and Meldon Leong of Kapili Band with Scott Medeiros. This event is a part of Honouliuli National Historic Site's 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Join current Superintendent Christine Ogura, former University of Hawaii West Oahu professor William Belcher who led archaeological work at the park, and Bayer Hawaii’s Alan Takemoto who played a critical role to establish the park as they share about the important role agriculture played in the creation of the camp, its establishment as a national park, and future preservation of the site.

The Theatre of Terrors: Murder Hotel isn't just haunted- it's hiding a deadly secret. Guests will wander through eerie halls, blood-stained rooms, and shadowy corridors. Encounter terrifying staff and unsettling guests at every turn.
But beware: every scream hides a clue. To escape, you must piece together the crime and solve the mystery of who's behind the murders lurking within the hotel walls. Will you uncover the truth before the killer finds you?

This year's festival features a lineup of fun activities perfect for our young keiki. Children will have the opportunity to explore dozens of trick-or-treat stations prepared by many generous nonprofit and community partner agencies and local businesses, guaranteeing that every little ghost and goblin has a frighteningly good time!
The festival will also feature critter petting encounters for those looking to meet some friendly furry friends, live music from DJ Boomshot and Marty Dread along with activities where children can unleash their budding creativity such as Ben's Big Blue Building Blocks, providing a fun space for imaginative play.
As the sun goes down, don't forget to bring blankets! Families will lounge in the open air while keiki are enjoying the free-to-roam activities, all while savoring the delicious offerings featured by our favorite local food trucks and vendors. Join us in celebrating Halloween with fun, creativity, and community at the island's premier facility for innovative performing artists and the perfect locale to show off your most creative costumes. Trek on over with the entire family for a night full of enchanting experiences!

Enjoy live music from the talented local guitarist and singer, Darin Cumpston. He will performing relaxing sunset vibes at Hula's Bar & Lei Stand, Waikiki, from 6pm to 9pm. The event is free and welcome to adults 21+.
