A small press magazine making a name for itself, Tinfish, has a new editor

Tinfish Press Magazine

There's a tiny press magazine making a name for itself from Hawaiʻi. Tinfish Press, Experimental Poetry of the Pacific, was founded in 1995 by writer and UH English professor Susan Schultz. Schultz has recently been transiting out of Tinfish. Writer, long-time collaborator Jaimie Gusman is stepping in as the new editor. It is a critical time for the idiosyncratic little Honolulu press.

Check out their magazine at tinfishpress.org. This interview aired on The Aloha Friday Conversation on Oct. 29, 2021.

Noe Tanigawa covered art, culture and ideas for two decades at Hawaiʻi Public Radio.
