A small exhibit at the Honolulu Museum School  is highlighting a growing component in Hawai’i’s social fabric.  “Carrying Culture: Micronesia” takes a look into the culture of those western Pacific islands via coconut baskets.  HPR’sNoeTanigawa reports.

“Carrying Culture: Micronesia” continues through April 28th, at the Honolulu Museum School mezzanine gallery.

Noe Tanigawa covered art, culture and ideas for two decades at Hawaiʻi Public Radio.
