Digging deep on Red Hill history with those who helped designate it as a civil engineering landmark

The Conversation recently dug deep to explore the history of the military’s Red Hill underground ground fuel storage tanks. We talked to two men who researched and wrote the report that got the secret underground project designated as a civil engineering landmark.

Former Naval Supply Center Pearl Harbor superintendent Jim Gammon and retired public affairs officer for the Fleet Logistics Center Navy facilities command Jim Murray reflected on what it took to build Red Hill.
