Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangardi says he intends to announce a decision Tuesday on a bill seeking to ban commercial activities at Waimānalo beaches. The mayor said he put off deciding Friday in order to further discuss the bill with community members over the weekend. He also shared his thoughts on pausing the rail project at the Honolulu Civic Center. The city hopes to test out an interim rail service later this summer.
