It's been feast or famine for the restaurant industry during 2021

It has certainly been a wild ride for those in the food and restaurant industry. Feast or famine is how Doug Harris of Food Gurus Hawaii and the Harris Agency best describes 2021. The latest index for August shows that business softened following a red hot summer. The index tracks some 3 million transactions in the islands each month to try and understand the restaurant trends and the forces at play.
