Aloha Mahina ??lelo Hawai?i i? k?kou! February is Hawaiian Language Month here in Hawai?i, and I'll be celebrating it by choosing an ??lelo no?eau (Hawaiian proverb) to frame and theme each show this month.
Tonight's ??lelo no?eau is number 2801 in Pukui's book: "Ua ka ua, kahe ka wai" or "When it rains, the waters flow." All of the mele in tonight's show will be themed around the rains, mists, dews, and freshwater.
