
"Classical Pacific" was started in 2017 by John Kalani Zak to feature classical ensembles and artists from around the Pacific Ocean. Host Louise Keali`iloma King Lanzilotti continued the program and included Hawaiian language and Modern Classical Music.
The tradition continues with host Sharene Taba. Every weekday afternoon, "Classical Pacific" reflects its roots, but also includes a deep appreciation for choral, chamber pop and third stream genres.

Aleeya Cantor-Charles is a ballet dancer at the Alexander Academy of Performing Arts on Maui. The King Kekaulike High School senior has been dancing at the Alexander Academy since she was 3 years old, where the teachers made dance and learning fun. This year will be her third Nutcracker. Her past roles include Arabian Coffee, The Columbine Doll, The Snow Queen, and this year, The Sugar Plum Fairy.
