Summer New Member Drive 2019

This week we are extending a special invitation to become a new member of this station.

Member-supported HPR receives 94% of its operating funds from the community - and only 6% from the federal government, by way of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The costs of doing business are high: in addition to facilities, infrastructure, and power, we also have to pay for the shows we air on HPR-1 and HPR-2. Morning Edition and All Things Considered alone cost the station about $1,000 per day! 

That's why we depend on listeners just like you to make it all possible.

Gough brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to her position at HPR. She most recently served as Director of Marketing at Hawaiian Ola, producer of Hawai‘i-made organic beverages. Prior to that, Gough spent five years at Whole Foods Market, where she oversaw marketing and community engagement for their Hawai‘i stores. She also served as one of the founding co-chairs of Generation Listen, an HPR initiative established with the mission of engaging younger listeners with the station.
