Thursday is the last day of the state legislative session and the final session for State Senator J. Kalani English. He announced his retirement from public office this past Tuesday, citing medical issues stemming from COVID-19. For the last 20 years, he’s represented District 7 on Maui, which covers Hana, East and Upcountry Maui, Moloka’i, Lana’i, and Kaho’olawe.
