Imagine yourself as a “Disease Detective” trying to stitch together clues about how illnesses like cancer and diabetes affects different ethnic groups.

We sat down with Loïc Le Marchand, UH Cancer Center epidemiologist and principal investigator of the study to talk about the Multiethnic Cohort Study (MEC Study) that looked at groups here in Hawaii and in California for two and a half decades.
