The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation advises ʻEwa residents of increased air traffic noise due to repair work on two runways at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
Two runways will be shut down from 4 p.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday for emergency pavement repair. Flights will be redirected which may result in an increase in air traffic noise over the ʻEwa plain, the department said.
