World Forest Bathing and Soundwalk Day

World Forest Bathing and Soundwalk Day

A global celebration highlighting the importance of listening and protecting quiet places as sources of health & well-being. Listen with fresh ears!
This slow and intentional walk to explore quiet, the art of listening, and our relationship to the natural world is part of a global initiative led by Quiet Parks International and the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. Our trail, the Nānākuli Lookout at Camp Pālehua, has been nominated one of the world's Quiet Places by Hawaiʻi's first and most experienced certified forest therapy guide, Phyllis Look of Forest Bathing Hawaiʻi. Your small group will move through a eucalyptus forest to a spectacular lookout, invited along the way to notice what is present in the moment.
You'll be joining thousands of others in all kinds of spaces around the world who'll be slowing down this weekend to discover the hidden music of their environment. Forest Bathing Hawaiʻi offers this special inaugural event for a voluntary donation to Camp Pālehua to further its efforts to reforest their land with a native Hawaiian forest.
