Makua Lani Christian Academy’s Space Club is the beneficiary of the Hawai`i Artisan Market, set for Saturday, January 8, at Kona Commons Shopping Center, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The beneficiary of this month’s market is Aerospace Meridian, the Space Club of Makua Lani Christian Academy. This small, but mighty club achieved international recognition last school year with the design of a space colony, earning top awards and recognition from NASA. Support these students by shopping with the more than 55 vendors from around the island at this weekend’s artisan market. The market, as well as the center, continues to observe all government-mandated COVID-19 safety protocols, including hand sanitization and face masks; as well, shopper numbers at the Artisan Market will be monitored.
