Food, friend or foe? We are talking about the puaʻa — the pig, a "Magnificent Beast."

That is the title of a film by Tess Gerritsen. The former windward Oʻahu resident now calls the East Coast home. We talked to her about the documentary she produced with her son that was released earlier this year. The film screens this Wednesday, April 27 at 10 p.m. on PBS Hawaiʻi.

This interview aired on The Conversation on April 25, 2022. The Conversation airs weekdays at 11 a.m. on HPR-1.
