"Habitat Threshold" by Craig Santos Perez

To celebrate National Poetry Month, we’re turning the spotlight on local poet Craig Santos Perez. He released his latest collection "Habitat Threshold" during the first year of the pandemic. It covers themes of eco-poetry: forest fires, species loss, contaminated waters, and the world our children will inherit. The Conversation called Perez to ask about one of his poems, “Rings of Fire.”

The interview aired on The Conversation on April 5, 2022. The Conversation airs weekdays at 11 a.m. on HPR-1.
