John Henry Felix on his family connection to Alzheimer's — and the search for a cure

Former Honolulu City Councilmember John Henry Felix is passionate about many things, but you may not know the story behind what drives him to raise awareness of a disease that steals your memories.

Felix, a former HART board member, is also the executive chair of the Alzheimer’s Association’s walk this Saturday to raise funds for research to end Alzheimer’s. The Conversation talked to Felix about his personal connection to Alzheimer's — and the search for a cure.

This interview aired on The Conversation on Nov. 4, 2021.
