With the New Year, comes New Year’s Resolutions. For many, one may be to get more sleep.

A few months ago we talked about the latest treatment for sleep apnea and other disorders which can affect  your overall health. The issue resonnated with many of our listeners so we decided Take-2 was in order. Today, on our call in show we will look at busting myths about sleep.

Our guests today are:

  • Anthony Hallam, MS,  health educator and Lifestyle coach for Kaiser Permanente.
  • U.H. M?noa professor Sonia Ghumman with the Shidler College of Business who has written about  sleep and its influence in the workplace.

We also heard from Dr. Shannon Makekau, head of the Kaiser Sleep Center, who talked about sleep medicine and what she believes is the biggest myth about sleep.
