Today on Bytemarks Café, Burt will find out about the application of blockchain technology in the agriculture industry. He'll talk to the organizers of the IEEE Blockchain for Agriculture Forum, and learn how blockchain can help address issues with food traceability, safety and counterfeits.

Burt Lum is the Strategy Officer for the Hawaii Broadband Initiative at the State of Hawaii, Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. Before that he was the Executive Director of Hawaii Open Data, a non-profit dedicated to advancing the principles of open data and has more than 30 years in Hawaii's technology and communications sector.
