Marc Ito was born and raised in Honolulu. His love of music developed as a child, playing piano, violin, and alto saxophone, and he especially enjoyed playing songs with his friends. That love of music led him to join the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa's KTUH in 2018 as host of The TradeMarc Show, where he played rare groove soul, funk, R&B, and more. He later became the Events Director there, where he discovered a love for playing live mixing. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Communications at UH, he joined HPR as a board operator and is now the Friday night host of Bridging the Gap. He brings his unique selection of music for all of the HPR audience to enjoy.
