In 2009, OHA’s board unanimously adopted a resolution in support of the TMT. And last July, trustees decided not to file a request for a contested case hearing in opposition to the Thirty Meter Telescope sublease.

Some OHA board members said they plan to visit Mauna Kea this weekend. But Trustee Colette Machado said the board still needs more time to review all the information and legal challenges before taking an official position. The next OHA Board meeting is scheduled for April 23rd.
