An expansive and enjoyable sale of primarily local contemporary art is underway for just a few days at Spalding House in Makiki, the former Contemporary Museum.   HPR’s Noe Tanigawa attended the Contempo #Artshop opening to peruse the inventory.

Enjoy free art programs at Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House. Learn about artists, collecting, techniques, and trends; see new work by local and international up-and-comers, mid-career trailblazers, and established masters, available for purchase at prices ranging from $100 to $50,000.

The Honolulu Museum’s Contempo #Artshop remains open for viewing and sales through Sunday June 28th.  Check the website above for a schedule of demonstrations.
