School Facilities Agency to be part of Hawaii's economic resiliency strategy
Last year, Alan Oshima was tapped by Governor Ige to lead Hawaii's Economic and Community Recovery and Resiliency Plan. We spoke with him last year on his goals for the "recovery" component of that plan. Today, he discusses one of the elements of the "resiliency" phase: the new School Facilities Agency. Hawaii Department of Transportation's Deputy Director for Highways Ed Sniffen, who will head the new agency, also joins our conversation.

Kent Nishimura, a photographer for the Los Angeles Times, witnessed the events of the Jan. 6th riots on Capitol Hill firsthand. He joins us with his account and will be returning to Capitol Hill this week to cover the upcoming impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump.
