Thirteen of Hawai‘i’s most savvy women artists are showing together at Pegge Hopper Gallery in Chinatown.  HPR’sNoeTanigawa offers this glimpse of the work.

The "13 Women" are:

Reiko Brandon, Allyn Bromley, Kandi Everett, Sally French, Lynda Hess, Kloe Kang, Emily McIlroy, Mary Mitsuda, Marcia Morse, Esther Shimazu, Yida Wang, Suzanne Wolfe, and Maile Yawata.

“Thirteen Women” runs through February 21 at Pegge Hopper Gallery in Honolulu’s Chinatown.  Artist Lynda Hess plans to be at the gallery every day to teach her new game, Soli.  Is it fortunetelling, or a way of reaching the answers within?

Noe Tanigawa covered art, culture and ideas for two decades at Hawaiʻi Public Radio.
