Kauaʻi voters will be voting again for the next county prosecuting attorney. Ballots were mailed out earlier this month for the special general election, and residents have until Feb. 26 to decide.
Rebecca Like defeated Shaylene Iseri in the special primary election with nearly 70% of the vote. The County of Kauaʻi Elections Office reported a 26% voter turnout for the special primary election.
Justin Kollar stepped down as county prosecutor in 2021 — resulting in a special election to determine his replacement.
