Small businesses on Oʻahu have until the end of January to apply for federal disaster loans if they suffered any economic injury due to the storms and floods in March 2021.
The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering federal disaster loans of up to $2 million to help meet working capital needs caused by flooding, landslides and mudslides.
Small nonfarm businesses, small agricultural co-ops, small aquaculture farms and most private nonprofits may apply.
Interest rates are 3% for businesses and 2% for private nonprofit organizations with terms up to 30 years.
