The Honolulu Board of Water Supply says a new batch of tests shows no indication of petroleum contamination in several Oʻahu water sources.

The BWS received test results from its Pearl City Shaft and Pearl City, Aiea, and Aiea Gulch wells.

These water sources are all in the general vicinity of the Navy’s Red Hill Shaft, a separate source that was contaminated with jet fuel.

Hundreds of military families have logged illnesses associated with the contamination of the water supply that serves the Pearl Harbor area.

The BWS continues to test the Aiea Wells and Aiea Gulch Wells weekly, along with its Halawa Shaft, Halawa Wells, and Moanalua Wells.

All test results are posted on the agency’s website at boardofwatersupply.com.
