Hawaii Republican Party Elects New Executive Committee

Hawaii Republican Party

The Republican Party of Hawaii elected a new state executive committee at its state convention over the weekend. More than 500 attended the virtual event - the most the party has seen in thepast 20 years.

Chairing the Hawaii party is Signe Godfrey, who owned executive search company Olsten Staffing for 30 years.

Other new committee members include:

  • Vice Chair of Coordinated Campaigns: Lynn Finnegan
  • Vice Chair of Candidate Recruitment & Training: Diamond Garcia
  • Vice Chair of Communications: Tiana Elisara
  • Vice Chair of Coalitions: Henry Vincent III
  • Vice Chair of Community Service: Jeff Coakley
  • Secretary: Mele Songsong

Treasurer Steve Holck was appointed in July 2020, but this is the first time he has been elected. Members will serve two year terms.
Earlier this year, former chair Shirlene Ostrov and vice chair of communications Edwin Boyette resigned after tweets defending followers of QAnon conspiracy theories were posted on the official Hawaii GOP account.
