Helping Hand - October 9, 2015 complete interview with Hawai'i Fido Service Dogs

This week Helping Hand is following up with a guest we had previously, as we learn about a special event coming up to support Hawai‘i Fido Service Dogs. Hawai’i Fi-Do Service Dogs is a non-profit corporation that trains dogs to assist the disabled. We’ll learn more about their fundraising event Friday, October 23rd at the Honolulu Country Club, Dining with Dogs. We welcome back Jim Kennedy, Executive Director at Hawai‘i Fido Service Dogs.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR1 stations statewide and online here in our growing resource of archived segments. Each Friday afternoon as part of All Things Considered on statewide HPR1 during All Things Considered, local ATC Host Dave Lawrence offers a profile of another  organization, event or topic in the community that offers assistance to the disabled, and the most vulnerable people in need.
