Join us for Keiki Club, a fun-filled, hands-on crafting experience hosted by HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts—right at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center!

Every Third Saturday
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Let your little ones explore their imagination through exciting crafts and creative play. We provide all the supplies—you just bring the smiles!

Whether your keiki is a budding artist or just loves to get crafty, this free event is the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning.

Critics have poured on praise such as “fiery virtuosity” and “superlative musicianship” for seven prize-winning musicians coming for a series of concerts on Maui in May.
The 44th Maui Classical Music Festival has concerts scheduled May 8 at Makawao Union Church, May 11 at Keawala’i Congregational Church in Makena, May 13 at Wananalua Congregational Church in Hana, and May 15 and 17 at the Historic Iao Theater in Wailuku.
The ensemble’s pianist, Adam Neiman, “plays with imagination and authority, not just an extra helping of technique,” the Chicago Tribune says.
Among his honors are Juilliard’s Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, the Rubinstein Award and the Avery Fisher Career Grant.
Violinist YooJin Jang has been described as “a performer without fear or technical limitation.”
For violinist David McCarroll, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra ‘s concertmaster, the Washington Post’s verdict was “superlative musicianship and beautiful sound.”
The festival also features two violists – Abigail Rojansky and Pei-Ling Lin.
Rojansky, winner of more than a dozen prizes, has been praised for her “dark tone” and “vibrant musicality.” She is a founding member of the Verona quartet, recipient of the 2020 Cleveland Quartet Award.
Lin was the winner of both the Senior String Division Gold Medal and the Grand Prize at the 2014 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, and the winner of the Walter Naumberg chamber music competition in 2016.
Cellist Angela Park’s highlights include numerous prizes and concerto appearances with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Seoul Philharmonic.
Returning to the festival as both cellist and co-music director is Amir Eldan, also a Julliard Competition winner. He has served as principal cellist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and guest principal cellist with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. At age 22, he became the youngest member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York.
The other co-music director is Katherine Collier, a pianist, who has been a leader of the festival since its beginning in 1982.
The festival was founded as the Kapalua Music Festival by Colin and
Margaret Cameron in 1982. More recently, it has reorganized as the Maui Classical Music Festival and is performed in Maui churches chosen for their historical and scenic appeal as well as excellent acoustics.

The Event has 50 Vendors that are Artisans that create products here on Maui to provide income for their Ohana. The money that they get from selling their products goes back into the Maui economy. The 50 vendors includes but is not limited to Food Trucks, Fresh Cold Coconuts, Cold Brew Tea, Fine Art, Men's and Women's Clothing, Jewelry, Hats, Sunglasses and Wood Carvings. It runs every Wednesday from 9am to 2pm at the corner of Keonekai Street and South Kihei Road across from Kam 3 Beach Park.

Please join us at Ka'ehu for our 4th Sunday of every month cleanup of this beautiful bay! We work together to pick up marine debris that's continuously washing ashore, from all around the Pacific Ocean and locally. Then we weigh, sort and count it all. This information gets added to our ongoing database since 2012, when we first began these regular cleanups at Ka'ehu.

It's a very rewarding and educational experience (with good karma and outdoor exercise). All are welcome to join this adventurous trashy treasure hunt! Please rsvp so we can provide our most updated safety and access information:
