Submissions Close for Kupukupu: Unfurling Art

Laulima Nature Center Issues Final Call for Art Donations for ‘Kupukupu: Unfurling’ Fundraiser

WHAT: Final Call for Art Donations. Laulima Nature Center is issuing a community-wide call to artists of all levels to donate artwork for the Kupukupu: Unfurling exhibition and fundraiser. The center seeks contributions that celebrate Hawaiʻi Island’s native flora and fauna for its Community Collection. The goal is to collect 30 pieces by the deadline. All works will be sold at a set price to raise crucial funds for the nature center.

WHY: This is a unique opportunity for local artists to be part of a vibrant ecosystem of creators dedicated to environmental stewardship. All proceeds support Laulima Nature Center’s mission and programs.

WHO: Artists of all levels and mediums are encouraged to participate.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Monday, September 30, 2025
