Special Olympics Hawaii’s Fueling Dreams
Par Hawaii is revving up for the return of its annual Fueling Dreams campaign to benefit Special Olympics Hawaii. From April 13 to May 24, 2026, Hawaii drivers can go the extra mile by making a donation at check out at any participating Hele station including 20 on Oahu, eight on Hawaii Island, and five on Maui. All donations will help athletes with intellectual disabilities train and compete free of charge.
“We believe in the mission of Special Olympics Hawaii and appreciate the staff, volunteers and partners who are dedicated to transforming the lives of thousands across our islands through sports,” said John Peyton, Vice President of Hawaii Retail for Par Hawaii and Special Olympics Hawaii board member. “We’ve had the privilege of seeing Special Olympics Hawaii grow in exciting ways over the years, and we encourage the community to join us in supporting this great nonprofit organization.”
Par Hawaii, marketer of Hele and 76 Hawaii, has been a strong supporter of Special Olympics Hawaii for more than two decades. To date, the Fueling Dreams campaign has raised more than $1,105,003 for Special Olympics Hawaii athletes and programs.

All donations received from the Fueling Dreams campaign allow Special Olympics Hawaii to continue to provide programs and training for more than 7,000 athletes and Unified partners across Hawaii.
In addition to Fueling Dreams, Par Hawaii has also served as sponsor of the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Hawaii Summer Games and has supported its employees’ participation in Special Olympics Hawaii’s Over the Edge fundraiser and other activities over the years.
Special Olympics Hawaii provides year-round sports programs and training for athletes with intellectual disabilities, free of charge. Since 1968, Special Olympics has been changing attitudes about the talents of people with intellectual disabilities and raising awareness to build an inclusive and unified community.
