If you don’t sweat the tall stuff, this fundraiser is for you! Special Olympics Hawaii’s 13th Annual Over the Edge fundraiser returns on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. The event allows participants to rappel 40 stories down the hotel, while helping to spread awareness and raise funds for Special Olympics Hawaii. Early bird registration is currently available through Monday, August 1, with a reduced fee of $50. For those registering after August 1, the registration fee is $100 per participant. For the safety of those participating, individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the event as well to sign a consent waiver. Participants must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds. All participants are asked to raise a minimum of $1,000 in donations.
