Start your month outdoors! In response to the Maui community’s desire to increase access to the refuge, Keālia Pond Visitor Center and Kanuimanu Ponds will be open every first Saturday of the month.
The Keālia Pond Visitor Center, located at Milepost 6 on the Maui Veterans Highway in Kihei, will be open from 9am to 3pm and offer access to the Kanuimanu Ponds, keiki activities, and interpretive talks led by refuge staff. Talks will begin at the visitor center at 9:30am and 1:30pm. Admission and all activities are completely free!
