Mid-Pacific Institute Global Exchange Academy 2026 Summer Programs
Mid-Pacific Institute announces its 2026 Global Exchange Academy Summer Programs, offering a wide range of learning opportunities for students from preschool through high school. This year’s program includes five-, six-, and seven-week sessions, with both in-person, on-campus classes in Mānoa and virtual options available to students locally and beyond.
The program offers engaging learning opportunities for students from preschool through high school, with a wide variety of courses designed to support academic growth and exploration at every level. High school students can also choose from both credit and noncredit courses, providing additional flexibility. Registration for all summer programs is now open and will close on May 17.
New to this year’s catalog is Our Mānoa: Place-Based Leadership Through Mālama ʻĀina, open to students entering grades 7–9. In this five-week, hands-on course, students explore Mid-Pacific’s campus and the greater Mānoa Valley as a living classroom. Through mālama ʻāina practices, work in māla ʻai, and visits to meaningful sites, students learn how land, culture, and community are deeply connected while developing leadership skills grounded in Hawaiian values. The course also includes collaboration with a partner school, beginning with virtual exchanges and culminating in shared, in-person experiences on campus.
Mid-Pacific’s Global Exchange Academy Summer Programs are designed to inspire curiosity, foster connection, and empower students to learn with purpose, whether in Mānoa or online.
