Maui Sugar Plantation Festival
Maui Sugar Plantation Festival
Plantation games, carnival games, food, entertainment, and new museum exhibits are just some of the fun awaiting you at the Maui Sugar Plantation Festival, Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum in Puunene, Maui.
This community event sponsored in part by County of Maui Office of Economic Development showcases Maui's sugar plantation history and multi-ethnic heritage, and offers an opportunity to enjoy samplings of such cultures as Hawaiian, Chinese, Japanese, Okinawan, Portuguese, Puerto Rican, Korean and Filipino, which contributed their traditions, foods, arts and customs to plantation life.
