This family friendly event offers an opportunity to stroll from historical Nazareth to Bethlehem on the church grounds. Visitors are engaged with the characters of the Christmas nativity story. Period costumes, live animals and refreshments will engage both children and adults. This festive event is free and open to the public.
Mokuaikaua Church founded in 1820, by Congregational missionaries with permission from King Kamehameha II, is situated in the heart of historic Kailua Village, Kona across from the Palace on Alii Drive. The large and stately steeple is a conspicuous landmark from both sea and land. Mokuaikaua Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
