Bio:
Clay has had a long career in government working with the City and County of Honolulu, the State of Hawaii, and the Federal Government where he has held Senior Management positions with all the different government agencies. He has also worked in the private sector in Senior Management positions.
He has held memberships in the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation, the American Correctional Association, the American Jail Association, the Air Force Civilian Advisory Council, and BOMA. He is a graduate of the F.B.I. Citizens Academy, State of Hawaii.
He is a current member of the American Association of Code Enforcement, the Building Industry Association of Hawaii and is the incoming President for the Hawaii Association of County Building Officials (HACBO) 2023 – 2024.
He is currently employed with the Department of Planning and Permitting in the City and County of Honolulu as the Customer Service Program Administrator.
