The Kauai office of the Alzheimer's Association will be offering a free online class. Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 4-5:30 p.m. About the speaker: Humberto Blanco is the Regional Coordinator for Kauai for the Alzheimer’s Association Aloha Chapter. He has served in this position for 14 years. During this period he has taught classes, facilitated support groups, provided counseling and run a dementia clinic for 5 years. About the class: For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
