808 Cleanups: Major Milestone and Volunteer Appreciation Event
808 Cleanups, a local nonprofit focused on community-led cleanups and ecological restoration, has just hit a major milestone: we have collected over 1 million pounds of trash in Hawaiʻi since our founding just over a decade ago.
To celebrate, we’re hosting a volunteer appreciation event on Saturday 9/27 from 8-10 AM at our Kaiwi Coastline site featuring a tour of the site and native plants we’ve restored, a chance to talk story with our team and volunteers, plus free coffee and refreshments for all attendees.
